Review

In this book written by none other than Peta Lemon herself and illustrated by Maria Dasic Todoric, we'll be joining an innocent boy's adventure on his flying toilet! This children book is full of colorful illustrations and imaginative rhymes! What more do you need?

Anyway, let's get on with the review:
It's so HILARIOUS. So, here's how the story goes: Timmy helped a fairy untangle herself from a haystack on his way home.

To show her gratitude, she would grant him a wish. He didn't wish right away and instead took his time.
He might or might not take too long to think, though. Because he literally just wished for the most normal thing to wish for at the worst possible moment.
So, yeah. You can imagine what happens next. I was just thankful there isn't any kind of human feces flying around when he was still on air.

What I love the most about Peta Lemon's books is her rhymes! I love how she rhymes every single sentence to the next. This is a children's book and you need to catch a child's attention long enough to keep her listening to your story. That's why rhymes are perfect because they are funny and interesting at times. You almost can't predict how the last word of a sentence is going to rhyme with the next.

I know I say the exact same thing about the illustrations in Peta Lemon's books, but let me just tell you that the illustrations are just charming and perfect they way they are. Not too over-the-top, not too bland either. Just perfect for this kind of children's book.

As for the moral value, well... All I can say is that this one doesn't have too strong of a moral value compared to the other two books. Timmy's story is just overall funny and interesting. Sure, it has its own moral value--be careful what you wish for. But I think the message "Love yourself the way you are" that is delivered through The Fed-Up Cow left more impression on me than this one.

In all, I could not recommend this book enough to all parents with little daughters or sons out there. It's hilarious and a perfect reading material for your children to learn.

Thank you, Peta Lemon, for providing us the ebook version of Timmy on the Toilet in exchange for an honest review!
